He May Have a Disability, but He's Not Disabled

This is an amazing story about a boy that lost his sight at the age of two. He suffered from cancer and had to have his eyes removed. Much like the mother of the late Ray Charles, this boy's mother gave him the courage to overcome his disability. He plays video games with his siblings. He roller skates and walks carefully navigating any obstacles using echolocation much like bats and dolphins.

What is echolocation?
According to The Merriam Webster's Dictionary:
a physiological process for locating distant or invisible objects (as prey) by sound waves reflected back to the emitter (as a bat) from the objects

Once again, we see that edifying and nurturing someone can help them achieve greatness. This mom refused to let her son be a victim. She taught him to use the talents he has to be independent. This is a beautiful and inspiring story.
