This is Why I Don't Trust The Police or the Government

Since I moved here, I've lost count of how many times I was pulled over. I'm tired of it. Yeah, after having a flashlight shined in your face, when you're driving down a remote road that doesn't have lights-you wouldn't be so happy either. The worst part is they pull me over because they can. I dont speed. Why would I? I'm driving with my 7 kids in the minivan. I try to keep my cars in he best condition I can, free of violations. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, they will pull me over. I ask them why, they put the flashlight in the eyes of my kids. I'm afraid fo my sons, they both have permanent tans. The cops and troopers cross the line all the time. They tried to man handle me when I was pregnant over some nonsense, then the same cop hits on me and gives me his number?!?!

Life is not the same for all Americans.

For this reason, I've drilled two important things into my kid's brains.
Rule Number One
If you're pulled over by a trooper or cop, don't say anything unless you're asked.
Rule Number Two:
NEVER make any sudden movements. They will shoot first and never ask quesions.

I pray for my kids all the time. Having an incident like the UF Taser incident or death are my worst fears. My god brother was assaulted by cops. They thought he was someone else. His face was unrecognizable. He went to file a complain at the precinct and they assaulted him some more. They also threatened him to not take it any further. He didn't. He is a good kid. He works, goes to college and pays his own rent. He didn't deserve to be beaten and even worse, justice was never served.

See, although we are Americans born and raised here-we are judged by the color of our skin. It's always the same in the school. The caucasian child brings brass knuckles to school and hits a Hispanic or black kid across the face. The minority is led out in handcuffs.

I don't trust the government or the police, but when you look at the whole picture...Life here is better than in other countries. I just pray that people would treat others with respect and not from their resevoir of twisted fears.

So much for FREE SPEECH...
