Saving Money on School Supplies

This year, stores started earlier than ever! The last week of school, I went to JCPenney to buy something for The Chatterbox. (She was going to a Super Sweet 16!) While at the register, I noticed they were putting out FALL CLOTHING! Um, summer hasn't even started yet?! As I put my purchases on the counter, The Little One hands me a book bag! I thought this was just JCPenney doing this. I went to Rite Aid to pick up some meds, notebooks, pens and looseleaf were on display!

When it comes to back to school shopping and saving money, I've become an expert. You have to find ways to make things last anyway you can. I usually save gift certificates, use coupon codes and even use freebies I get online. Here's a great solution for the recurring, "I don't have a pen." problem. Purchase cheap pens from PensRus.com. Their Bic pens can be customized with your child's name. At .24 at pen, it is an inexpensive solution. If you really want to get more bang for your buck, put your company's URL, name and/or phone number on it. It can be bring you more business. Think about it, losing a .24 cents pen can mean more businesee for you.

Hey, You have to think outside of the box when you have 7 kids. There's no other way i would have survived otherwise...
