Carnival of Family Life #24!

This week's Carnival of Family Life is being hosted at Everything Under the Moon. I'd ike to send a great big thank you for a job well done!

This is a great carnival that I try to participate in weekly. They have great posts written by bloggers from all over the world! You can submit your favorite entry by clicking on the orange carnival button on my left sidebar!

There is one entry that I wanted to discuss. It can be found at BabyLune's b5media blog : My Sister & Women Like Her are the Luckiest Mothers on Earth. I left a comment on the post. It struck a cord. See, I live in an area where there are a lot of SAHMs. They are lucky enough to have the choice, but the ones that choose to work have family close by. The worst part is that they judge others that are not as fortunate. I went through a lot when I was working outside of the home. I had to and it wasn't by choice. On top of that, I had to leave the kids in three different day care center and after school programs. If you want to read more about the horror of it all here's the link to Both Sides of the Fence. Needless to say, a lot of confrontations took place. I'm not a passive person.

Women that have family close by to help are blessed. The next time you go to complain about your mother, mother-in-law or other relative that is helping you by caring for your child, think of me. I had to put the care of my most prized posessions in the hands of strangers. The drama I experienced could fill up this blog...
