The Diva Meets The Jonas Brothers

Wednesday was a very hectic day. I had to take the kids to summer school, take The Diva to get her hair done, make sure there was food for Sleepy Dwarf and then drive several hours to take The Diva to Staten Island for a Jonas Brothers concert. It didn't sound too complicated until a million other things came into play.

First, the hair stylist no longer works at the salon we frequent. So, The Diva sat with a girl that took, well...a long time to do her hair. I had just gotten a trim without getting my hair done, so I looked like a crazy person. The time spent there made us have to go straight to the school, where I had to speak to the summer school principal. The Comedian thought it would be funny to crack jokes in class. The laughing students caused a disruption in the class...DUH??? Well, he got suspended for a day...again. He caused the same disruption the last time. He needs to go to an Improv class or something. He reminds me of Jim Carrey... Anyway, I went to Wendy's got them something to eat for everyone, packed up the car, got ready and the phone rings. The (Mary Kay)director I had been trying to meet up with since Monday, was leaving this Friday. If I wanted the products, I had to go to her home that moment. Now that adds to my schedule. Great. So, The Diva decides to ask her grandmother to meet us, so that she can borrow her digital camera. That tagged on more time, but I still had time... Except, I got lost getting to the director's house and her grandmother took awhile to get to us. Still cutting it close...

Finally on the road! Whew! Can't wait to start the long trip and then right before the entrance of a highway...an accident. That made us have to detour right into a traffic jam that took us 30 mintues to go through two lights! Finally on the highway and we encounter several more accidents. Get to the city, drop off the other kids with my sister and commence our trip to Staten Island. Encountered even more accidents and horrible directions from Rand McNally. What's up with these computer direction sites? I brought money with me to buy The Diva some posters and stuff and I spent it on tolls that were not even mentioned on the sites. They didn't even mention we would be going over:
1. The WhiteStone Bridge $4.50
2. The Triboro Bridge
3. The Verazano Bridge $9.00
and I had already paid $6.00 on the George Washinton Bridge?? I also had to fill up the tank...twice. It was insane. The worst part is we took the wrong exit and we arrived 15 mintues before the show finished and we had excellent seats we didn't even use!

There is a happy ending to my crazy day. Here it is! The Diva Meets The Jonas Brothers She had two hours of pictures of The Jonas Brothers and conversation with the Jonas Brothers at their Meet And Greet! Now go find out Who Are The Jonas Brothers?

Isn't she pretty? What do you think of her hair? The first picture is The Diva with Nick Jonas, her favorite band member. The other two are of The Diva with the Jonas Brothers.

What's next? B5. Another boy group made up of five brothers. They are on the BadBoy label. Ohh, maybe The Diva will get to meet B5 and mommy will get to meet Diddy.

A girl can dream....

Her hair looked gorgeous! She is a beautiful girl.
I have noticed that when we are on a time schedule anything and everything will happen to ruin the plan! And the tolls: one thing I don't miss from living in The City...

What a beautiful daughter! No wonder they wanted to hang out with her! It must have been totally worth it to see her so happy with the band!

hmmmmm, it seem to me that your daughter is a spoiled brat who is self obssessed with herself and will never amount to anything without the help of her "dear" mother. she is pretty, but in a superficial, shallow sorta way. i hope your proud of the kinda person your raising, because i sure wouldn't be!!

oh, and btw the only thing extremely pretty about her is her eyes, they are, as i have to admite gorgeous, but other than that she really ain't all that "beauftiful" i know tons of people that are twice as pretty than her and are charitable, funny, all around good people! hmph!!!

To the Daring Anonymous,

First of all, you picked the wrong one to harass.

The Diva has already graced the cover of two books and was a model in a third.

She learned sign language to communicate with her autistic brother.

She sings on the worship team in the youth group.

She does well in school, helped her cheerleading team rank in the finals and is active in several extra-curricular activites.

She will excel with or without me.

I think your jealousy has gotten the best of you. What happened? Had some delusional expectations of you and Nick Jonas?

Be sure to look for us at future concerts in the Tri-state area. Let's see if you have the audaciity to step to us. Let me warn you, this girl was home grown...in the Boogie Down Bronx.

One more thing, go to Oz and get some courage...

***********
Oh, and stay in school. Your grammar is horrendous. Ever heard of punctuation? What was I thnking? You probably don't go to school. You did leave this message at 1:42am. Better start practicing:
"Would you like some fries with that?"

First of all, why in the world would i be jealous. i mean i had never even heard of the jonas brothers until last week.most of all though, i don't even think Nick is all that cute,no i am more of a Joe fan. i was trying to find out some things about them, like what they looked like and general information. as for what i was doing online so late, i had been working on a project at school, then decided to go online. and although you slammed my grammar and, though why should i care, your a full grown women and i'm only in 8th grade. i was saying all those things because thats how i saw it. plus, wow, i mean you say she has been on the cover of books and stuff, well guess what, nowadays they are looking for diversity. most people they choose are pertty, to a degree, but i mean that doesn't impress me much. what would impress me is if your "Diva" worked in a sweaty stables during the weekends helping give kids horse lessons in the blazing heat of the day. she wouldn't be to worried about her hair or her "good looks" then. i live in the second largest state in the United States, which means that i am a home grown Texan girl. which also, unfortunately means that i won't be running into you in the tri-state area.the whole go to oz and get some courage thing was kinda weird to, i mean i wasn't really being cowardly, all i was doing was stating the facts as i
saw them, and from my point of view she does seem kinda like a brat, and that above all else is something i dislike. now i am not going to tell you all the things that i do and am capable of because another thing i dislike is bragging and the only reason i did it on the comment is because you insulted my integrity so i decided to tell you that i am not the person you labled me as.

p.s. me and my friends had the best laugh at this whole thing, not just the comments but also your
little article. so if this was good for something, then i guess that would be it. oh and just so you know i would have the audacity to confront you, if i lived there, but as a stated earlier i am a proud Texan and wouldn't have it any other way

Excuse me, but do your children even have names? Or do you typically call them by their apparent nicknames? (Little One, The Diva, etc)? yes, here is where i abandon the pretense for good grammar, as you are so obviously obsessed with. i am a best friend of the anonymous commentator whom you attacked. there is no need for your kind of fury towards a young, fragile minded 8th grade girl. you are a grown woman, correct? most grown women have the decency and self-control not to slam a child. but you... i dont know about you. ugh. we are not harassing you. this page is for COMMENTS!! OPINIONS!!! these are my and my friend's comments. can you understand that? your daughter is indeed pretty, but obviously spoiled rotten. and i admire your persistence and determination with your children, like your ADD or whatever child and your autistic child. i know you must struggle, after all, you are only human. but it seems to me like you put your daughter, the Diva, on a pedestal for all to worship. do not expect for everyone to agree with the way you are raising her, as my friend remarked. now...

who cares if you go to - oooh, concerts in the tri-state area!! wow!! what are you even talking about? wtf is the boogie down bronx? like the regular bronx?
and why would you tell her to get some courage? she has more than enough courage to face you!! we are not jealous of you, nor your Diva daughter. ew.

how dare you? how dare you even imply that my friend is not in school? you insinuate the most stupid things, know that. she excels in her english and language arts classes. she, on the night she left her comments, she was researching for a spanish project. she is an extremely diligent person. not all areas of life require perfect grammar and punctuation, especially when trying to make a point. i hope i have.
she is not jealous of you, nor your daughter.

PS: nick is butt ugly. joe rules.
and i love macdonalds.

Texas? I guess that explains the little comment about shoveling stables?!

We don't do manual labor. When you look like her and have her intelligence, it's not necessary.

By the way, look up the definition of the word "fact". What you stated was your opinion, which holds all the cow manure found in Texas....

Courage, look it up too. Taking shots at someone when cloaking your identity? I'm sure you have a myspace. Why didn't leave the URL? Perhaps because you look like the horses in your stables??

One more thing, why are you so bitter? Didn't your mother ever give you any love?

Thanks for the laughs.

I have a suggestion for you and your little friends. Why don't you go on myspace? That's more your IQ level and age range...

The comment about McDonald's was an insult. By the way, you misspelled it.

You have very promising futures...

HOLA! what an odd coincidence. we are the two girls that you terrorized a few years ago. sudden curiosity led us to rediscover your blog. that and a school assignment. as it turns out, we stretched the truth about our ages. we weren't eighth graders, we were freshmen at the time.

just so you know, that is the truth. our school provides certain gifted students with laptops. and since we live in the great state of Texas, our IP address would of course be from the University of Texas System Office of Telecom. so we were never trying to cloak our identity. we were just bored and disgusted with your lifestyle. we both work hard for everything that we get, and it seemed to us that your daughter got everything that she desired handed on a silver platter. it angered and confused us at the time. even now, we would not expect you to understand.
